IEP/504 Services

Our mission is to support families with children who have special needs. At Student Support Squad, we focus on helping children access the services they need for both learning and social-emotional development. We provide families with essential information about their rights under special education law, related services, transition planning, and civil rights.

Many parents reach out to us feeling frustrated with the special education process, seeking clarity and guidance before the IEP (Individualized Education Program) journey begins.

We assist families in determining their child's eligibility for special education services, including IDEA, ADA, and Section 504. We are dedicated to advocating for both the child and parents during IEP meetings to ensure their voices are heard.

Our experienced team represents children facing various challenges in school, from those with mild disabilities to those requiring residential treatment. To better understand your child’s needs.

We are committed to helping your child achieve a meaningful educational experience in accordance with federal and state special education laws, ensuring they receive support in the least restrictive environment.

Our Services Include:

• Reviewing educational records
• Attending IEP and 504 meetings
• Conducting school and classroom observations
• Reviewing private and/or school assessment reports (available as a standalone service)
• Proposing goals and reviewing supportive evidence in preparation for IEPs
• Drafting letters and written requests to schools
• Drafting responses to confidential settlement agreements
• Preparing complaints for the State Department of Education
• Recommending a list of attorneys if legal assistance is needed
